Doctoral Leadership Cohort Program

$20,000 in annual TUITION, FELLOWSHIPS, TRAVEL AND RESEARCH SUPPLIES

A newly funded Doctoral Leadership Cohort Program in Special Education is beginning  in the Fall semester 2007 at George Mason University. This new cohort program is designed to prepare students for leadership positions as faculty in special education higher education and other leadership positions. The program emphasizes training in research, teaching and service for individuals with mild disabilities, including learning disabilities and emotional disturbance. This program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs and offers significant student support for tuition, fellowships, travel and supplies.
