The Mason LIFE Program is an innovative post-secondary program for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who desire a university experience in a supportive academic environment.
Resident Assistants: work 30 hours a week and live in the dorms in Liberty Square with Mason LIFE students. Compensation includes tuition benefit (up to 15 credit hours per semester), room and board, in addition to a small monthly stipend.
Instructors: 20 hours a week of leading and co-teaching classes with Mason LIFE students based on a 9:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule. Compensaton includes includes tuition benefits (up to 9 credit hours per semester) and a small monthly stipend. Internship and practicum options are also available.
