About Us

The Kellar Institute for Human DisAbilities (KIHd) is an interdisciplinary campus-based organization focusing on improving the lives and productivity of children and adults with disabilities. KIHd combines the resources of the university with local, state, regional, national, public, and private sector agencies and organizations to develop products, services, and programs for persons with disabilities.

Your registration is not complete until payment is received or an invoice has been issued to your organization by GMU's Special Education Outreach Payment Office.

RATES: There are different Registration Fees depending on the attendee's status. Please note that Conference Attendee Registration Fee depends on the date the Registration Fee is paid. Even if an individual registers during the Early Bird time period, the amount owed will be determined by the date the Fee is actually paid or the date of issue of an invoice.

Conference Attendee: $350 Pay prior to 7/16/12
$400 Pay between 7/16/12 and 10/15/12
$450 Pay after 10/15/12
Presenter: $300  
Student: $200 Any student enrolled full-time
Vendor: $500 Indicate name of company

There is no fee for the Keynote Speaker, Invited Speakers, Self-Advocates, or Sponsored Attendees (representing one of the official Co-Sponsors of the Conference and selected by their organization).

The Registration Fee is the same whether an Attendee chooses to attend one or both days of the Conference.
There will be no refunds after 11/1/12.
The Registration Fee includes: breakfast, lunch, reception and dance on Thursday, November 29th; breakfast, and lunch on Friday, November 30th; beverages and snacks between sessions on both days.

CREDIT CARDS: Payment can be made by credit card (visa or mastercard only) at our website: http://ttac.gmu.edu/archive/events-payment/

One transaction can be used for multiple attendees. Please type in all names. If there are too many to type into the allotted space, please email kihdpay@gmu.edu with your organization name and the list of attendees. If the individuals fall into different payment categories, please include how much you are paying for each individual.

CHECKS: Payment can also be made by check made payable to George Mason University and mailed to the following address. Please be sure to include the name(s) of the Attendee(s) and if the individuals fall into different payment categories, please include how much you are paying for each individual:

INVOICE: If you require an invoice, please email the following information to kihdpay@gmu.edu:

Organization to be invoiced, payment mailing address, to whose attention should it be mailed, any Purchase Order that needs to be referenced, and the name or names of Attendees to be covered by the invoice with the Registration Fee for each individual.

Also include in your email whether you prefer the invoice be put in the mail or emailed.
